There are still people who live the hunter-gatherer life, and we can learn a lot from them about resilience and adaptability in the face of harsh circumstances.

This is the story, written for children, of an adventure to visit a band of San People in the middle of the Kalahari Desert.

It is a descriptive and true story of a people who have adapted and survived against tremendous odds and in the face of deadly enemies, yet have retained a joy in life and a resilience that is at once inspiring and moving; with pictures taken by the author and his friends who shared this adventure.
